Namibia and Ireland are scheduled to open their five-match men’s One-Day International series on 22 October 2026 at 07:30 UTC. The first ODI is at High Performance Oval, listed as HP Oval in Cricket Namibia’s schedule, in Windhoek.
Cricket Ireland lists the tour period as 22 October to 1 November 2026. Cricket Namibia says the series will mark the first-ever men’s ODI meetings between the two countries.
Five matches across two grounds
Cricket Namibia’s schedule places the second ODI at FNB Namibia Cricket Ground on 24 October. The third match returns to HP Oval on 27 October, before FNB Namibia Cricket Ground hosts the fourth and fifth fixtures on 30 October and 1 November respectively.
The BBC match listing also gives the five fixture dates and identifies Windhoek as the location for all matches. Its fixture notice states that schedules and start times are subject to change.
Previous meetings and Namibia’s preparation
Cricket Namibia recalls Namibia’s eight-wicket victory over Ireland at the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, followed by an 11-run win in a warm-up match for the 2022 tournament.
According to Cricket Namibia, the tour follows international cricket against South Africa and Zimbabwe, plus matches against the USA and the United Arab Emirates in the United States. The organisation describes the Ireland series as part of its efforts to strengthen the national team and bring high-quality international cricket to local supporters.
